Shelter in a House Maze

[Usachan]

"Wow!" I said spinning and smiling. "This place is huge!!" I smile then stop and take a deep breath my eyes go wide. "I smell food!" Vee says and runs toward the smell. I follow after him

[Teo Sage]

Teo walked in Yami's jaw dropped open at the sheer size and at how extraordinarily beautiful this mansion was. "Amaz--...............I smell food.............." Yami said Teo turned to see Vee run off into the direction of the smell.

Suddenly, Yami and Teo's stomachs growled in unison. "Onee-chan, wait up!" Teo said running after her. Yami followed.

The room as to where the smell was coming from was an enormous extravagant room with a dinning table nearly from wall to wall with food of every sort that could and would please any kind of eater.

"Please do enjoy! I slaved over the stove for three days preparing this food. The elder's said you might be hungry so I went all out." Patamon said with a tiny grin.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett and Waspy took their time to join the others, ambling slowly through the wide and impressively tall entrance hall. Hewlett, ever the conisseur, took in the magnificent Grecian pillars and soaring Gothic arches of the hall - it was a fusion of tastes in a manner he could only describe as cut-and-paste architecture. He observed that the impressive doors to main rooms had name labels - kitchen here, bathroom there - above them and bell-wires, connected to a hub above the front door, emerging from their sides. At the same time, a number of dingy side doors were present, which had no labels nor bell-pulls emerging from them, and Hewlett quickly notified himself of their location.
He entered the Victorian dining hall and sat himself at the left-hand centre of the long, rectangular dining table, and helped himself to a plate of grilled sea bass with green salad and a side dish of miso soup. He would not be outdone in impressing the host, regardless of their intention. Waspy hovered from his head and then returned with a large honeycomb in his front legs. The pair began watching.

[Usachan]

I looked around and spotted something in a giant metal pot. I opened the lid and my eyes got stars in them. "Ramen!" I cried out and got a bowl of it and grabbed a pair of chopsticks. Vee did the same. "Itadakimasu!" we cried out in unison and started eating.

[Teo Sage]

Teo sat next to Usa and Yami next to Vee, Teo scanned the broad display of food "Look at it all, How will we ever be able to eat it all?" Teo said. "Don't worry Teo! Just eat till your hearts content! I'll do the rest!" Yami said drooling uncontrollably almost all over Vee's food.

Annoyed, Vee did what Vee do best a skin stinging smack on the back of his head right into pie. Chocolate Pie.

Teo couldn't help but laugh when Yami lifted his face up chocolate and pie crust everywhere. "Ni-Nii-san......what did I do.......?" Yami said "Yami, you better finish that pie it'd be rude not to." Teo giggled as he ate some ham glazed in the finest honey probably taken from a swarm of Fanbeemon nests.

Yami began to eat the pie slowly with a tear stream coming down his face in response to the stinging he was feeling.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett raised an eyebrow at Teo and Yamis' antics, amused and annoyed in equal measures. At the same time, he kept a good eye on Patamon, who was in the middle of sharing a joke with Usa. This... pricked him somehow, but he ignored it, instead focusing on his hosts demeanour. Hewlett honed in on any faltering in Patamons dialogue, his inflections and tone, for awkward shifts in posture or topic. He found few, and, unfortunately, the majority of these were applicable to regular hosts as well.
He frowned, and then realised that Usa was looking at him with a perplexed, and almost offended, facial expression.

[Usachan]

I excused myself from Patamon and walked towards Hewlett. "Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked quietly, placing my hand on his shoulder.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett started, having been too busy analysing Patamon to notice that Usa had come over to him. He nodded, standing up and leaving his untouched food alone.
"Certainly, Usa," he replied, his tone smooth and relaxed. "Perhaps we should leave the room, if this is of a private nature." He gestured to the door, anxious to leave and settle his thoughts. Patamon had moved his schmoozing over to Teo and Yami, and thus Hewlett had no more opportunity to examine him. Besides, he had no wish to be abandoned by the group so soon, and keeping a good relationship with the girl, so obviously the senior one out of her and Teo, was thus a good idea.

[Usachan]

"Is something wrong?" I asked as soon as we were alone. I looked at him worriedly. "You havent touched your food and you've been staring at Patamon very strangely." I said quietly.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett frowned, uncertain whether it would be a good idea to voice his suspicions. He concluded yes.
"Waspy and I... we don't trust him. This all seems too good to be true - a protected house full of good food and what seems like a generous host." He paused a moment, weighing up other ideas. "If it werent for the fact that I have a high metabolism and need to eat, I wouldn't have. Waspy, on the other hand, has not. And," he said, wrestling with another wave of the prickling feeling. "I didn't like him talking to you." At that point, the doors to the dining hall opened and Patamon emerged, Teo and Yami close behind. The strange-looking Digimon adressed the group as a whole.
"Come now, my esteemed guests. The hour grows late - perhaps a bath and then bed?" Hewlett sighed, and followed the rest of the group as they ascended the central staircase.

[Teo Sage]

Teo and Yami were really enjoying themselves, oblivious of Hewlett and Waspy' suspicions. They both followed after Patamon saying bath time repeatedly in a joyful manner.

"If you come this way Usa, your bath is just on the opposite side of the boys. Its nice and warm take all the time you like I'll go prepare the beds." Patamon said as he fluttered off down the hall way.

Teo and Yami ran into the room to get ready Teo turned back and motioned Hewlett to come then closed the door behind him.

[Usachan]

Vee went off with the boys and I headed towards the my bath. I undressed and got in the bath, relaxing completely. "Ahhh. I forgot how nice a bath feels." I murmured to myself.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett strolled into the bathroom and then realised that there was only one bath in it. This meant one of two things - either there was to be a waiting period between baths... or he was supposed to share the tub with a ten year old boy.
He hated the Digital World sometimes.

[Teo Sage]

As Hewlett meditated on the fact there was only one bath Teo was already undressed and standing near the edge of the water. "Wow, I can see my reflection." Teo said as he stood up and gave an innocent smile at Hewlett.

"Its gonna be hard to get clean wearing your clothes, aniki." Teo said he then jumped into the water. "T-TEO!! I wanted to be the first one in......"Yami pouted. Vee shook his head and lifted his foot kicking his younger brother into the water. Then Vee got in himself.

From the look of the room's structure it used to be one room but instead of building a brand new wall instead they simply separated it with boards of wood that didn't even come close to the ceiling separating the two baths down its middle obviously it used to be one bath in its entirety. The boards looked new and unstable as if they were recently just put up a rush job so it seems. Usa and the boys could communicate through them.

Yami began swimming in a relaxed fashion "Its been to long......since we had one of these." Teo said leaning up against the boards.

[Usachan]

I giggled as I heard the splashing. "Kulu~" Kulumon was relaxing in the water, his ears having gone back to small form. I smiled and relaxed, listening to the boys being silly.
