Naoko looked at the baby digimon in his arms. They portaled from Suku's birth place all the way to this land just to escape any dangers and the digimon magnet that girl seemed to be. Problem was it didn't seem like the location Suku left them in was any better than their first situation. Currently Naoko was hidden beneath down tree branches and leafless trees.
A weakened Suku growled in his hands waiting for some of his energy to come back. He used too much power portaling in his small form. He thought he could get Naoko passed this place but once they landed he just dedigivolved. The baby Suku looked down to the ground avoiding his tamer's worried eyes and his orb.
"Stop worrying. If we get attacked you will be fine."
Suku said nothing about himself though. If Naoko died he wouldn't have a chance but if he died he could just hope to be reborn with the same memories. Naoko smiled at that as he sat and crossed his legs in the dry dirt. This place was so lifeless but he guessed this wasn't the worst that could happen.

Suddenly massive vortex of darkness unlike any of which was fathomable appeared as thin arms wrapped in cloth shot out with precision grabbing the two and against there will, pulled them into the pool of evil unbeknown to them there destined location.

It was a waiting game now. How long could they hide out here? Was it their fate to encounter an evil digimon here or could they wait it out and leave before it came to that? Suku was hoping for the latter. Concentrating his gaze to the ground, mainly to avoid the smiling buffoon above, he got a cold feeling.
As he looked back to talk to Naoko. To just make sure he was alright his eyes widened. This wasn't good not at all.
" Naoko! Close your eyes!"
Naoko was confused but his face turned to panic as he noticed the darkness around him. A glance upward caused the slamming shut of his eyes as the claws gripped the two.
"S-Su-Suku."
"You'll be fine! Just don't open them."
Suku tried to calm down his voice as they were dragged under with the darkness. He really didn't know if he was telling the truth or not but the shaking of his tamer told him lying was the smart thing to do.
