Fantastic! I will probably go with that then for the evolution line...I also was hoping that going with the idea of her partner being champion level as his default stage of chilling in he's probably putting most his energy into maintaining that form, that it's very challenging for him to stay in a fight for super long or he doesn't hit as hard or...it's harder for him to digivolve. Not sure yet. =) I'll find a way to balance it out for sure! I have the character half drawn...also have a custom made one with two forms done...not sure what I will do with it yet. Now to hope my scanner cooperates...
