Inori dropped her bag on the floor, not particularly caring as her books spilled out. School was done for the day, and that was all that mattered. Part of her really wanted to just collapse onto a very inviting looking bed, but she quickly dismissed the notion. She still had homework to do.
"Why can't I procrastinate like a normal person?" She sighed to herself, trudging over to her chair, and pressing the power button on her computer.
The machine began it's normal boot process, or...it started to at least. Inori eyed her monitor as it lit up with a screen she had never seen before. Odd symbols she couldn't make out flickered into existence for a moment, then vanished just a quickly as the screen went black.
"You didn't catch a virus did you?" Inori asked the monitor, almost like she was expecting a response.
It was more then surprising when it gave one. The screen seemed to explode in a brilliant white light and an odd sound seemed to be playing back from the speakers.
A brief moment of panic hit Inori, as she lept out of her chair and reached for the tower. Pulling the power cord seemed like a very good idea right about now. Unfortunately, she never got the chance.
Just as everything went black, Inori swore she heard a voice whispering: I found you.
