Digimon: Digimon (short for Digital Monster) are creatures made from waste data. They take on a myriad of forms and reside in the Digital World, a realm made from the same waste data.
Digivolving: Digivolving is how Digimon age and grow. When Digimon gain enough data, usually from defeating and assimilating their foes, they Digivolve into a larger, more powerful form and stay that way, unless they exhaust themselves. There are some exceptions to that rule. If the Digimon has a Human Partner/Tamer, they can Digivolve with out gaining experience through the use of a Digivice. The Digimon stays in that form for as long as its needed to protect their partner. The Diiferent Digital Levels: Fresh->In-Training->Rookie->Champion->Ultimate->Mega. Other forms of Digivolution include Armor(using Digi-Mentals(eggs) to evolve) and Bio-Merge(where the tamer and digimon become one).
