Personality: Melanie is a rather excitable girl...the kind who sometimes likes to leap before she looks. Her excitable nature makes her rather fearless when it comes to interacting with others; something which can lead her to all kinds of trouble, as not everyone is so friendly to interact with. This however, she can back up with a healthy amount of knowledge on how to fight, and defend herself. She can come off as a little loopy, but the harmless friendly kind who will go on random tangents about strange things.
Melanie is not a very 'girly' girl in personality (though she tends to be in looks), liking strange things like comics and games and the like. She does have her moments however.

Biography:
Melanie's family consists of her parents, an older brother, and a younger sister. She does not get along so well with her sister (who used to do annoying things like pull on her hair and take her favorite toys), but her older brother has always been the coolest thing since sliced bread to her. Her brother was obsessed with different styles of fighting; a hobby that he was more than happy to share with whomever would let him. While Mel's younger sister had no interest in such things, Mel was more than happy to spend the time with her brother. While she is no master, she sure as heck knows how to fight, and has become rather adept at using what she finds around her to her advantage. For the most part, growing up has been fairly normal...go to school, get passing grades, stay out of trouble...etc. Though she often fails at the staying out of trouble bit...
