2. Emergence

Digital Millenia went by. Yggdrasil created stewards to care for his world - four great Digimon known as the Sovereign, with a fifth to act as moderator. He gifted them with powers beyond their fellows, and the fifth a legion of aides and servants - holiest of Digimon, the angels.
The angels were ordered: the lord angels had their deputies, their aides, their armies. They stood as symbols of peace and loyalty, defenders of their world. The Sovereign stood as symbols of order and power, lords of their world. The divided their realm up into four, one section each, and to their leader went a higher realm within their world. The fifth Sovereign gifted the Master Angels with two fragments of his Digi-Cores, which could be used to instantaneously Digivolve any Digimon to any form.
The Digimon who lived chose to dwell in the lands of a Sovereign who they felt closest to, and so all was well and all was good. No ill occured, and if it did, the Angels, or the agents of the Sovereign came, and dealt with it.

At this time, Digimon began to form organisations in order to keep their realm peaceful and safe. An order of elite warriors emerged from humble backgrounds under the word of a white knight and thus became defenders of their realm - Yggdrasil himself made them his sworn protectors. Mighty Shaman joined together to make the laws of the world and keep the land in order, and Azulongmon founded an initiative to keep his world safe from deadly threats by embuing three dragons - and himself - with mighty forces of the land. There was even a group of Holy Beasts who swore themselves to the Sovereign as their aides and warriors.
