The Hierarchy of the Digital World (as defined in the RP Storyline)
It goes as follows:
Yggdrasil= Vast and super-intelligent data being that formed, hosts and cares for the Digital World.
Fanglongmon= Appointed leader of the Sovereigns and caretaker of the Digital World, posessed of great size, power and ultimate mastery of the Angels and Devas.
Digimon Sovereigns= Four mighty Digimon - Azulongmon, Zhuqiaomon, Ebonwumon and Baihumon - with great physical and spiritual strenghth, each appointed to care for a quarter of the Digital World. Each has a small squadron of Angels and three aides, or Devas, at their command, as well as armies of Digimon who dwell in their land.
Angels= A great number of extremely powerful Holy Digimon. Also known as the Virus Busters, they are organised in their own hierarchy (detailed elsewhere) and ultimately serve Fanglongmon, though there are squadrons assigned to the other Sovereign.
Olympus Twelve= 12 Guardian Deity Mega Level Shaman Digimon who took it upon themselves to protect the Digital World whenever they appear. Each one has much spiritual power and a great dedication to peace.
Four Great Dragons= A secretive group of four exeptionally powerful Dragons, also known as the Hand of Azulongmon, who carry out duties vital to the survival of the Digital World.
Royal Knights= An order of twelve Exalted Knight Digimon who uphold peace and order, and serve as the last resort in the case of crisis. They are as active as they choose to be, and may be requested by the Sovereign, but the are ultimately the direct guardians of Yggdrasil.
Deva's= Twelve Exalted Beast Digimon who serve the Sovereign (three per individual Sovereign). They act as aides to their masters and generals of their armies during battle.
Sages= Powerful soldiers of the Sovereign who exemplify their legion. They thus carry the symbol of their legion upon themselves.
The Armies of the Sovereign= The Sovereigns armies, organised from their citizens and divided into legions based on their typing. These legions are the Nightmare Soldiers, Roaring Dragons, Nature Spirits, Deep Savers, Metal Empire, Wind Guardians and Jungle Troopers.
Civilian Digimon= The residents of the Digital World who do not serve the Sovereign in any major capacity.
