I wake up, feeling groggy. "Hey, your's is awake." a voice says. I am then tackle-hugged by something small and blue. "You're finally here and awake! I've been waiting for a long time to meet you!" it says and I recognize the voice as one of the voices from the computer. I blink. "Um, I'm sorry, do I know you?" I ask. The creature jumps back and smiles at me. It looks kind of like a space cat. "I'm Vee, you're parnter. I was born to be with you." he says smiling. I tilt my head. "What are you? Where am I and what do you mean you were born to be with me?" I ask and look around and spot another person lying a few feet away. I get up and go over to him. "Hey, are you ok?"

One of the creatures runs to the girls side "He hit his head when he came through....I hope he is fine." He said suddenly the boy began to move.
He regained consciousness as he stood up "Y-yea, I'm fine....but the voice....was real?" Teo turned around and saw the older girl looking at him.
"Um....hi.....was that your voice I heard? Where am I?" Teo asked. "No that was my voice! I called you here! And this is the Digital World! Or...whats left of it." Teo turned around to see who was talking to him.
"WAH!" Teo fell back "Wh-what!? Wh-who are you!?"
"I am Yami! Your partner!" The young dragon said.
"I'm confused!" Teo said as he stood back up.

I smile, glad the younger kid was okay. "Me too kid." I say and look at Vee who was smiling at me. "I can hlp explain a few things." He said. "As Yami said, this is the Digital World, or whats left of it after the virus. You've been called here because you're Chosen Children, chosen to save our world." I blinked. "Save it from what?" "The virus." The two replied. I tilt my head. "What are you?" I ask. "We're Digimon, Digital Monsters." Vee said with a smile.

Teo listened and shook his head "Virus? Digital Monsters? What does all this mean? Your not making much sense." Yami looked at him.
"The virus is our enemy that thrust the Digital World into chaos, we chose children with strong hearts to help us stop the virus and restore the world." Yami explained.
Teo scratched his head "I'm not sure I understand...." Teo then remembered there was another person. "Oh right! I almost forgot! My name is Teo Sage" Teo introduced himself to the girl.

I smile and shake his hand. "Nice to meet you, my name is Usa Hikari." Vee jumps on my head. "Is it true? Can you make me digivolve?" he asks, excited. I blink. "Digivolve?" I ask. "Ya, I will get bigger and stronger. Didnt you get the device I sent you?" he asked, tilting his head. I reach for the device I had in my pocket and pull it outt. "Ya! Thats it! Point it at me and will me to Digivolve!" Vee said. I shrug and do as he says. Vee starts glowing. "Chibimon Shinka! V-mon!" the glowing fades and a small dragon is looking at me, grinning. I blink, confused. "Uh, what just happened?"

Teo smiled as the two finished there introductions Teo witnessed the process of digivolving "Whoa! Thats awesome! You got almost as big as me!" Teo said.
"No fair Vee! We were supposed to evolve at the same time!" Yami whined Yami turned to face Teo. "Where is yours?" Yami asked.
"Mine? I have one?" Teo asked at that moment he felt his back pocket "Wow! I do....but...it doesn't look anything like yours...." Teo stated examining the device.
"Thats because your digivice works with your digisoul." "Digisoul?" Teo said confused.
"Yea, a digisoul is found in people who have strong hearts that are able to connect to people and bring out the best in them." Yami explained.
"I have....a digisoul?" Teo put his hand over his heart.
"Of course! What do you think got you here in the first place? Your digisoul opened the way, what ever you felt at the time you were summoned is what you can use to bring forth your digisoul." Yami did some odd motions as to give some emotion to what he was saying.
"What....I felt...." Teo tried to remember, it was silent for a moment then suddenly Teo's hand had a blue aura around it. "He-Hey! What is this!?"
"Its your digisoul! Although its a lot weaker then the one that brought you here....oh well...use your digivice it can turn your digisoul which is your hearts desires into power that can help me evolve!" Yami jumped around Teo.
"Okay...I'll try" Teo placed his hand on top the digivice the digisoul reacted with the digivice the screen began to glow. "Now say digisoul charge!"
"Digisoul......Charge!" Teo said the digivice blew a light out towards Yami.
"Chibimon Shinkaaaaaa! V-mon!" "WHOA! You...you changed to! Who...what are you guys!?" Teo said surprised.

Yami and Vee trade looks. "We already told you what we are, Digimon!." Vee said, grinning. I bite my lower lip, a habit I've had since I was a child meaning that I was thinking. "Usa, whats wrong?" Vee asks, pulling on my shirt hem lightly. "I was just thinking, I didnt use a DigiSoul to digivolve you, does that mean I dont have a strong heart?" I ask.

Yami looked at Vee as the two whispered quietly to each other "No, every digivice reacts to its owners hearts to help there partners to evolve just in this particular case Teo's heart actually portrays itself through his digisoul why this is for him and not for you well who knows." Yami said.
"Basically, what I'm trying to say is your heart's power will be portrayed in a different way sometimes it becomes something only partners can feel."
Teo looked around "Okay, so your Digimon creatures that live on the digital world....could you maybe explain to us why you need us to begin with because this is all still very strange." Teo said a butterfly fluttered by his nose.

I smile at Yami. "That makes me feel better." I tilt my head at Teo and nod, raising an eyebrow at Vee, who fidgeted slight. "Well, you see, we dont know exactly. We were just told to find our partners and lead them to the City." he said.

"City?" Teo looked around "I don't see anything like that but that giant mountain." Teo said.
"Thats Grey Volcano." Yami stated "Our homeland."
"You live on a volcano?"
"Its dormant." Yami replied.
"Thats good." "We think....." "What!?"
"Uh....anyway! We should go to the city don't you agree Vee?" Yami said as he ran over and placed his arm around him.
"Wait....you two are the same does that make you related?" Teo asked.

"We're the same species of digimon. We're both V-mon, but in our case, yes, we're twins." Vee said. Vee turned to his twin and frowned. "I know we should go to the city, but how do we get there?" he asks. Suddenly a map appears on my D-3. I blink. "Would this help?" I ask, showing them the map. Vee nods, smiling. "Ya! Now we just go toward the gold dot." he says. I nod and look at the map then tilt my head. "How many humans are in the Digital World?" I ask. Vee tilts his head. "What do you mean?" he sks. "Well, if these green dots represent humans and the red dots represent digimon," i pause long enough to see Vee nod, then continue, "then there is another human and two other digimon somewhere." I finish.

Teo looked at the map that was being displayed "Huh...that is cool....Yami-san do I have anything like that?" Teo asked.
"You might....I couldn't tell you much about that after all I didn't make it." Yami replied.
Teo turned to face Usa "Usa-chan, if there is another human here he might be able to tell us a little more like what our reason for being here is." Teo said.
"Well, Teo, whatever you decide I'm all for!" Yami said running to his side with a smile from ear to ear.

I nod. "Sound good, Teo-kun. What do you think, Vee-chan?" I ask. "I'll go wherever you go Usa-chan." he said, giving me a thumbs-up. I smile and nod. "We're off to see the Wizard then." I say with a smile.

Teo nodded in agreement "Alright then! Lets go!" Teo said as he began to march. "Teo, hold on!" Yami said.
"Huh? What is it?" "You can't just walk off into the wild! There are evil digimon to! Besides, you don't have the map." Yami pointed to Usa's digivice.
"Evil..............digimon?" Teo said he became worried. Yami quickly noticed and ran up to him "Ah ah! Don't be scared Teo! Thats why I'm here! To protect you! I promise to do my best!" Yami pumped his arm.
"Y-yea, okay." Teo said although just meeting Yami he had his doubts.
"Usa! You can lead the way!" Yami said.

I bite back my smile. "Fine by me." I study the map and start to head in what seems like the right direction. "So Teo, wheres home for you?" I ask, trying to make conversation.
