Arrival

[Usachan]

I place my hand behind my head as I stand up and walk over to the teenager."Sorry, totally blew past intros didnt I? Names Usa, adn my partner is Vee." i say and then blink as something moves from within my backpack and Kulumon's head pops out. "And Im Kulumon, kulu." he says, smiling.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett smiled at the white and adorable face - he had an appreciation of cute, cold as he was. "Cute."
He did not notice that the girl was blushing (she thought he was talking to her) and then went over to look at the stone.
As he took it in his hand, a thunderous sound of crunching branches was heard and Apemon leapt from the jungle as he bellowed;
"DO NOT TOUCH IT!" He took the stone from Hewlett and, with a bright flash of light from his ring, destroyed it. Hewlett decided he'd ask about that later - if he had to associate with the others, he'd make sure they were introduced. He signaled Waspy to his side, and there he hovered at his shoulder level. Hewlett then returned to the girl - she was the oldest of the newcomers, and thus, he assumed, the authority figure.
"Nice to meet you - I'm Hewlett. And you are?"

[Usachan]

I blink. Didnt I just tell him? Oh well. "My name is Usa." i say, slowly.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett, deciding that a good first impression was important, took her hand and kissed it gently. Inside, he was struggling not to laugh at Usa as she blushed profusely. He then pulled the white Digimon from her bag and placed him on his shoulder before tickling him under the chin.
He was enjoying this - he was manipulating them and that meant that he was in his element. It also meant that he was making a good impression, which would undoubtedly mean that when he no longer upheld his facades, they wouldn't mind his icy, harsh demeanour so much.

[Usachan]

I frowned. There was something......not right about the way Hewlett was acting. I take Kulumon back and hug him to my chest. I smile at him. "So, you have two partners?" I ask.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett nodded.
"Yeah - Waspy (that's him over there with the kid) and Apemon (that's the big angry one)." Apemon then came over, with the youth and his digimon on his shoulders, and Hewlett decided it would be a good idea for a second introduction. He climbed up onto Apemons hand and was lifted to the level of the boy. "Nice to meet you, kiddo. I'm Hewlett." He extended his hand for whatever greeting the boy chose to give.

[Teo Sage]

Teo looked at Hewlett he was a little taken off guard being placed on Apemon's shoulder. "My name is Teo Sage...." He said he was confused as he had already introduced himself before he shook his hand although it was weakly.

"I'm Yami V-mon!" Yami said jumping off of Apemon's shoulder "And your lucky we showed up when we did!" Suddenly a hand hit him over the head Vee glaring at him.

"OW!!!! nii-san.............."

[Usachan]

Vee sighs and shakes his head. "Gomen ne, Yami-ototo is a bit.....much." he said apologetically. I bite back a grin. "So, Hewlett, was it? Would you like to join us? We're heading...." i pause as I check my D-3 and look for the gold dot, "north, I believe." i say.

[Hewlett]

Apemon nodded.
"Yes... north. That will lead us to what's left of the city." Hewlett, quick off the mark, enquired.
"What's left of the city? It used to be bigger?"
"Indeed it did, but some one-thousand years ago the Lost City shattered into pieces and those pieces became what you see today - habitats for the Digimon of the island. The Capital is a dangerous place, cordoned off... a virus is loose there. It takes the form of a thick, choking mist and infects Digimon alarmingly fast. They become feral and brutal, slaughtering their enemies and reaping their data one-hundred percent." Apemon sighed. "That Ninjamon was infected; he must have escaped the Capital. The stone would have begun to spread the virus, and thus an epidemic would have begun. I had to destroy it."

[Usachan]

"So.......are you joining us or going solo?" I ask.

[Teo Sage]

Teo was watching the two and listening attentively when he had to ask "So are we the only three? I ask because saving the world sounds a little large for just three people."

[Usachan]

Vee rolls his eyes. "What are we? We're going to help save our world too!" he said. I tilted my head counted silently. "There are eight of us all together. That's not so bad, is it?" I ask.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett nodded.
"I'm not too happy about it, but I'm in. Let's do this." Apemon moved, as if to say that Hewlett was supposed to lead, but a raised index finger from his charge told him it would be better to keep quiet on that.
Hewlett put his hand out, ready for that somewhat cliched hands-in-team-raise-hands-and-go-woo ritual. He knew it was cliche. But it would be fun.

[Usachan]

I quirk my eyebrow at him. "If you dont want to join, you dont have to. No one is forcing you too." I say dryly then turn and walk toward the bridge in the distance, following the map on my D-3, Vee and Kulumon close behind.

[Teo Sage]

Teo smiled and looked at Hewlett "C'mon." He said as he grabbed his hand and began to run towards Usa pulling Hewlett with him.

'I don't know why I'm so worried...I should help as much as I can since I feel at one hundred percent for now.' Teo thought to himself.

"That was a quick change of attitude." Yami said as he ran after them.
