Hewlett came to in a place he did not recognise - though at this point, he was getting used to it. He simply propped himself up and gave himself a once over to check for any major injuries, of which there were none. Waspy was standing (if that was a term appropriate for an insect) to his left, on guard and attentive.
Above them, space imploded and the vortex opened again, depositing two boys and two Digimon. Hewlett got to his feet and helped the older boy (perhaps seventeen years old) to his feet.

With Naoko's eyes shut only Suku watched the transfer. Pure darkness changed into an open space as the weightlessness quick turned to gravity. The pair fell only cushioned by Naoko's behind.
"Ow!"
Naoko couldn't help to hold back the sound as he dropped to the ground. Opening his eyes he noted the missing claws and change in scenery. The boy who fell with him spark his curiosity but the hand that was held out caught his attention.
"Ah th- th- thanks"
Taking the hand Naoko got up. Suku wasn't too happy to run into more humans. They were suppose to avoid trouble. The human had a champion level digimon and the other could be strong as well. Who knew if they were on the same side or not.
"Naoko, stop talking to them. They could be dangerous."
Naoko nodded at that though he was curious as to who were they. It didn't help he was new to the world.

Hewlett smile-frowned (a curious expression which he was very good at) as he examined this first set of human and Digimon. The Digimon was very clearly a dominating personality, and the human a submissive one. This made things interesting, because Hewlett liked playing with submissive personalities - and he really hated butting heads with dominating ones.
He decided a similar facade to the one he'd projected to Teo and Usa would do, and he extended a hand to either the boy or the Digimon.
"Hello. I'm Hewlett. It's a pleasure to meet another Chosen Child, even if it is in the belly of the beast."

"Were are we and what was that all about?" Renal said as he got up. Atlas just stood up without an answer. Hewlett and Naoko caught his attention. He stood there for a couple of seconds and then spoke."Who are you people? Do you know were we are?" Atlas asked. Renal stood there looking at Hewlett and Naoko's digimon with a confused expression on his face.

Suku eyed him suspiciously as he spoke but nudged Naoko to make him shake the hand. Doing so Naoko obviously had a light and weak grip. His eyes went to the ground during the action but Suku's stayed in place. Though he did keep a smile on his face.
"Nice to meet you Hewlett. I'm --"
"The human is Naoko and I'm Suku. I don't know if you are a chosen child or where this 'belly of the beast' is but I don't like you or this situation."
Naoko laughed at his digimon's words. He got a bit use to the 'ray of sun shine' called Suku.
"P-Please don't mind him." "Mind me." "H-H-He is really n-nice sometimes." "I'm not I hate humans."
Naoko could only smile nervously at his digimon continuous contradictions. He was happy when the other boy started to speak. It would get him out the the oddness his digimon created for him.
"Hi I'm Naoko and this is Suku and sorry I'm as lost as you."
"Master but main point...there's more."
First a correction on Naoko's title for him and then a comment on the amount of humans. This day was just a ball of happiness for him.

Atlas had nothing to say. He turned to Hewlett. "Do you know whats going on?" Atlas asked. "Well it's nice to meet you Naoko and Suku" Renal said smiling.

Hewlett took Atlas by the hand and shook it warmly - that always went down well. Then he got down to business.
"We've been abducted by a powerful dark Digimon - the one responsible for the state of the Islet. He created the Virus which makes Digimon go mad, and shattered the place into pieces. We - that is, the Chosen Children, those humans who came into the Digital World, carry Digivices and have Digimon partners - have to recover the data backups on the fragments to dissolve the virus, cleanse the infected and repair the Islet.
On the other hand, we're in the middle of a grim, granite labyrinth which I would assume is the domain of chief nasty-fellow." Hewlett grinned in a manner which was ever so slightly unsettling, as Waspy took up a perch on his extended left arm. "This is Waspy, by the way."

Naoko and Suku had no problem with being ignored by Atlas. Suku was happy with it and Naoko was too shy to care. They instead responded to the digimon with a small bow and a smile. Now Suku didn't smile he just ended up doing a long blink but it was hardly seen through Naoko deep bow.
Listening in on the conversation Suku looked over at the noisy humans. So that was what they were there for. He only knew he was to be with the human. He felt satisfied to know what their purpose was. He silently cursed himself for feeling like he owned the boy for the info even though it wasn't being given to just him.
"S-So we have to f-fight?"
"Che, of course we do. Though I'll be the one fighting."
As he spoke he swung the tuff on his head back and forth along with his orb like he was boxing. He stilled himself though as he spoke again.
"But right now we have to get out. I say we just find and kill whatever put us down here."
His words didn't seem that big coming from a fresh digimon and he knew it. Giving his destruction bent digimon a nervous smile Naoko looked up to face other unsettling sight. He didn't know why but the smile made him wary as he freed up a hand to wave at the Digimon while keeping his own 'pet' close to his body.

Atlas felt more calm after he figured out what was going on."Well im guessing once we destroy this evil guy we go to the City" Renal said."Maybe" Atlas said. "We better get a move on. I don't like being in this place". He began to walk and motioned his hand for Renal to come. "Lead the way Atlas" Renal said.

Hewlett laughed - and to his surprise, so did Waspy, and it was he who spoke to the newcomers.
"Nah, that's not what we've gotta do, kiddo. We need to find the hearts of the fragments - records of how the Islet used to be. Once we've got one, then we go back to the city. They'll help purge the virus and, once they're all recovered, they'll fix the islet, too." Waspy turned to Hewlett, and his face got the closest to a grin a giant bee can.
Hewlett grinned right back, and then the group started for the closest path through the maze.

Atlas kept walking with Renal behind him staring at this place and staring at the group. "How rude of me i forgot to introduce myself. I'm Renal the Monodramon and in case if you were wondering this is Atlas" Renal said with a smile.

Naoko's expressions lightened a bit at the news. So they just had to collect some item. He was alright with that. Suku on the other cursed at the fact. Why couldn't they just attack and be done with it. He might be weak but someone could throw him at it....or something.
"I still say we hunt it down."
Naoko chuckled at his digimon's words as he started to follow the group. He stayed to the back not because he was afraid but because he thought that was where he was suppose to be. They had a leader so he had no business moving up like he was going to do something.
"What are you humans for if all we have to do is collect some stupid items? We could just do this ourselves. Keep you pests in your own world."
"Master..."
Suku huffed his tuff off hair wagging in annoyance.

Hewlett ran off ahead, hearing sounds of a struggle - if it was Usa and Teo, it meant they could regroup, and there was strength in numbers. Behind him, Naoko and Suku were lost in the twisting maze, but he reckoned that Atlas and Renal were close behind.
He suddenly halted at the very edge of an impossibly black pit, and teetered on the edge as Waspy stabilised him. Clearly, we've gone the wrong way, thought Hewlett, but that was all he had time for, because Atlas stumbled on his shoelace and knocked into him, throwing the pair of them into the chasm, Renal leaping after them. Waspy sighed, a mite peeved, and lazily darted towards the group.
"This is, without a doubt, more trouble than it's worth," he remarked.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me!" Atlas screamed as he was falling. "Atlas I'll save you!" Renal said. Atlas looked at Hewlett as they were both falling.

They landed with a soft thud on what could adequately be described as a giant plaid pillow. Hewlett got to his feet (no easy task, considering the soft, unstable quality of the surface) and looked around their immediate surroundings. He was very surprised.
"It's like a cushion store on acid..." he remarked, and then he jumped back as a low, grating buzzing began from the far side of the room.
