Atlas and Renal were traveling for a long time and they eventually found the Puppetry Fields. "Wow this is an interesting place. I can see a building from here. Want to go check it out?" Atlas asked. "Sure. It's shouldn't be to hard to get to from here." Renal said.
Atlas and Renal walked all the way to the the building and looked up at it. "This is interesting. It looks like a theater." Atlas said. "That's because it is a theater. It's called the Puppet Theater. Its where Digimon put on plays to entertain other digimon." Renal explained.
"I see. Let's go and see what it looks like inside." Atlas said. Atlas and Renal walked inside and saw the stage and all the seats. "The lights are off and nobody's inside. Looks like there not open at the moment." Atlas said. "Guess not. How about we take a break and explore the place a little more?" Renal asked.
"Sure i'm okay with that" Atlas said. Atlas and Renal split up and were exploring the place.

"Wow this is a nice place. I like it." Atlas said. "Well there doesn't seem to be anything strange or unusual here. We can leave now." Renal said. "OK." Atlas replied. Atlas and Renal walked out the theater.
"So were are we going next?" Atlas asked. "Well i don't have a map so let's just keep moving forward like before." Renal said. Atlas and Renal were walking through the puppetry fields moving straight ahead.

Just as the two were beginning to leave the Puppetry Fields a shuriken flew through the air missing Atlas' but flew close enough to his cheek to draw blood.
Obviously they weren't alone.

"What the..." Atlas said as he stopped and felt his face bleeding. "Were being followed and someone is trying to kill me." Atlas said to Renal. "Atlas your face is bleeding!" Renal said turning around. "Yeah i know. I think it came in that direction." Atlas said pointing. Renal was facing the way the shuriken came from.
"Hey who's out there? Whoever it is show yourself! I don't like sneak attacks!" Renal screamed.

Snickering could be heard in the distance "Shame...because I love it."
suddenly a big puff of smoke appeared some feet from Atlas. A small digimon which appeared to be a head in purple ninja garb stood where the smoke had vanished.
"Now foolish human...you must die before you can meet with the others." He said with a toothy smile.

"A digimon!" Atlas shouted. "Its a ninja digimon. What's your name and why are you attacking us!?" Renal shouted. "Yeah and who are the others?" Atlas asked. Renal was giving him a dirty look and in front of Atlas trying to guard him.

The digimon huffed at them "I am Kougamon, My mission is to kill you before you have the chance to meet with your allies, that is all I'll say, now you die." Kougamon said he quickly threw his shuriken towards the two.
On the back of his throwing hand a tiny diamond shaped black shard could be seen embedded into his skin.

Renal had grabbed Atlas and pulled him out of the way dodging the shuriken. "Atlas go by the theater and wait there. If you stay here you'll get in the way." Renal instructed. "OK. Just try not to die." Atlas said running toward the theater. Atlas had saw the shard when he threw the shuriken but paid no attention to it.
Renal had charged at the Kougamon and went to go punch him in the face with all of his strength.

Kougamon simply moved his head to the side easily dodging the attack almost immediately afterward Kougamon grabbed Renal's arm. "Did you think a simple frontal attack would work. How foolish"
Kougamon thrust his knee towards Renals stomach while holding his arm. Kougamon then would follow up his attack by lunging his palms into the chest of Renal initially sending him backward.

Renal had smiled."I'm not stupid. I just wanted to get close to you." Renal was hit by kougamon's knee but then grabbed his hands and went to go kick him in the head. He would then let go of his hands to go punch him.

Kougamon took the kick to his head but jumped back when the punch came. While he jumped back and still within mid-range of Renal he let loose three Shuriken before getting out of Renal's reach.

Renal didn't see the shurikens coming and was hit. "Gah! He's very quick!" Renal said taking out the shurikens and dropping them on the ground. "You're tough. What are you? Rookie or Champion"? Renal said watching him.

Kougamon let out a chuckle "I'm of the Adult level....a level that only true warriors can obtain....while you young dragon are much to weak." Kougamon shot Renal a glare.
Then with his superior speed disappeared from his sight quickly reappearing to Renal's left side. "Take this!" Kougamon lashed out a powerful kick to his face.

Renal didn't see the kick coming and was hit. Renal had slid to the side and wiped the blood off of his mouth. Renal had looked at Kougamon with an angry look. "This one's going to hurt!" Renal said charging at Kougamon. When Renal got close he faked a punch and then slid behind Kougamon. "Beat Knuckle!" Renal yelled as he went to hit him on the back.

Kougamon was prepared to counter the punch but was fooled when Renal used the fake out to hit him with a more powerful one. Kougamon slid back his face was serious his head cocked to the side a bit of blood came from his lip and ran down his face.
Kougamon spit it to the floor Kougamon glared at him "I'm going to kill you now....how dare you make a fool of me! Now I'm getting serious." Kougamon drew his sword.
"Prepare yourself for your demise!" Kougamon stated he ran at Renal and jumped into the air. "Kouga-ryuu, Kage Bunshin!" In an instant 10 Kougamon appeared all with the swords drawn and in all one unison slashed at Renal.
