Big City, Bigger Problems

[Teo Sage]

Teo looked around the room slowly became to look more and more like an ancient temple there were symbols were carved into the wall. Written in the digimon's language Teo looked at them "Huh these are some weird symbols." Teo said.

"Thats because there not symbols there letters it says..." Yami moved his finger along the words. "Si N Se Ri Te...." Teo looked at him "What?"
Yami took his finger and began to draw on his hand "We have two ways to write our language this is written as if we were going to speak it. Though if I take this and turn into a readable form our alphabet, I'll take the first letter of every word S n s r t." Teo thought.

"That still doesn't make much sense." "I know I'm not done yet. Now If I take the syllables then I have Sinserite." Yami said Yami looked up at Teo "Now take away some of the letters and put in the ones that should be and it says Sincerity I knew that from the start but I thought I'd educate you on our writing." Yami smiled.

"I still don't get it." "Huh...well I tried."

[Usachan]

I couldnt help but chuckle at the "educating." I put Kulumon down as Vee jumped down and looked around the room. I ran my fingers along some of the letters as I looked around also.

[Hewlett]

Once the group had finished their language lesson, they began to tour the ever metamorphosing corridors of the cathedral - a humble church there, a cavernous temple here, and a techno-altar there. It wasn't too soon before Hewlett realised that they hadn't gone anywhere since they went through the door, and so he announced this to the group. While he was talking, he had a second realisation.
"It's... it's a puzzle. Some kind of test. We need to say a codeword, or do some action, flick a switch... we need to look at what we're doing. He sighed. "Damn it all... I... I don't know what to do.". A great streak of green light cut through the wall adjacent and carved out a door shape, which immediately became an actual door. Whatever Hewlett had done, he'd solved the puzzle. He just wished he knew what he'd done.

[Usachan]

I blink in surprise. "Um Hewlett, what did you just do?"

[Teo Sage]

While Usa asked Hewlett what he did suddenly Teo felt odd "Um guys..." Teo said the group turned around his digi-soul surrounded him unintentionally.

It then shot forward towards the door and through it as if it was acting as there guiding light pointing them in the right direction. Soon the digi-soul disappeared as quickly as it showed itself perhaps it was reacting to whatever it is there looking for.

"Well...you don't see that everyday." Yami stated.

[Usachan]

Vee shook his head at his twin's sense of the obvious. I tilt my head and head towards the head, Kulumon and Vee right behind me.

[Teo Sage]

Teo walked behind Usa he was feeling fine he didn't know why but he didn't feel at all sick perhaps it was because this place was protected? Or it could be unaffected by the virus.

Teo still didn't know why he kept getting ill but he still didn't plan on revealing the truth. He hated when people worried about him, as the group walked they realized it was going down as a slant finally it became stairs a long set about three to be exact Yami was whistling the entire way. The group finally reached the end and entered a fairly big room in the distance there was a large shrine with stone digimon on each side looking like AncientTroiamon.

Sitting on a pedestal in the center of the room was a small object it looked like a bud with the same teardrop symbol on it that was on the walls and the upper corridors. As the group approached it the object gave of a warm dim green glow.

"Digimental....?" Yami said "So this was a Digimental's shrine, It looks as if no one has been down here for ages." Yami could here a "what was your first clue?" Under someone's breath but he couldn't tell who so he just gave a glare to everyone behind him really fast he pouted as he looked back and saw Teo walking up to the shrine.

"Uh! Teo...This place could be booby trapped! Be careful!" Yami said running to his side after hitting face first into a cobweb "Pthah! Patooie! Gross!"

Teo took a step up to the digimental as he got closer his digi-soul glew as the Digimental glew brighter with every step Teo took.
Teo reached out and placed both hands on the digimental the glow became eye blinding bright then within a few seconds it dimmed down until there was no more glow.

Teo smiled and turned around "I think this is what we were coming for!" Teo said behind him the pedestal on which the digimental once rested sank into the floor. Yam's eyes widened "Uh......T-Teo....." Yami stuttered.

"What?" Teo turned around the digimon stone on each side eyes were glowing red. "Insincere child who toucheth mine treasure thou tongue hath been tried! Thou art unworthy to wieldth that ancient pow'r' now thou shalt becometh mine unearthed treasure."

The eyes dimmed as suddenly the entire building began to shake violently cracks began to shoot up the wall Hewlett from where he was standing could see up the stairs walls were beginning to come down from the ceiling to seal them in. Stones began to fall from above one taking out one of the statues heads.

Teo became frightened as he ran back and hugged Usa tightly. "Well...see what happens when NO one listens to me?" Yami said quickly getting a smack in the back of the head.

"Onee-chan, I'm scared!"

[Hewlett]

It was impossible to judge what happened from then on - the floor began to give way at an alarming pace and the tumbling ceiling fragments made knowing what was going on very difficult. What is certain is that the test worked - Teo panicked and let the Digimental go. His sinscere belief that he did not deserve it's power was proof enough that he did.
Unfortunately, there was enough time for the traps to kick in, and when the dust cleared, Hewlett, Waspy and Tapirmon were gone. In their place, however, was a hole in the floor and a small alcove in which sat a book on an altar.
Teo and Usa, Veemon in tow, examined this book. It was set on a dias of pleasantly cool marble, with some organic moulding touches. More than this, it was bound in thick leather of deep crimson, with its title (The Knowledge of the Scholars) on its front and spine in a smooth gold writing. None of these things, however, were the cause of Usa drawing a sharp intake of breath: this was caused by the yellow Post-It on the front of the dias, which read, in Hewletts handwriting, 'Usa'.

[Usachan]

I pick up the book. "Why does this have my name on it?" I say, looking at the Post-It. "And where did Hewlett, Waspy, and Tapirmon go?" my voice rises slightly in panic.

[Teo Sage]

Teo picked up the digimental it became a bright light and was uploaded into his iC. "Huh..."Teo thought Yami was looking around the place looked like a massive earthquake hit.

The whole place was now very unstable Yami turned to the group "I don't know but we should be thankful the shaking stopped otherwise we all might have ended up buried."

"Don't act as if aniki is buried! I'm sure he is fine." "I wasn't saying that, but what I am saying is we should get outta here before this place collapses."

[Usachan]

"NO! We cant leave without them!" I cried out with more emotion then I knew I had. Vee looked at me then looked at the book in my hands. "Let's see what the book says, ne, Usa-chan?" he asked. I nod and open the book to the first page.....

[Hewlett]

Hewlett regained conciousness in a place he didn't recognise. However, he was perfectly okay with this, as the immediate problem of his seeing vision (the white on black semi 3-d outlines) had gone away. However, he was immediately aware that he was nowhere near the rest of the group - though Waspy was sitting besides him and Tapirmon was meditating nearby.
"Damn..." he remarked. "I seem to wake up to this situation far to regularly. Tapirmon, where are we?" The brown mammal frowned.
"I... don't know. As far as my vision goes... we're nowhere."

[Teo Sage]

Yami tapped his index finger on his forehead "You don't seem to understand....this building was just shaken to the point where we were about to be buried some how it stopped, now I'm not saying that I'm not worried for the others I am but look around this building has become very unstable and the foundation has been damaged." Yami was looking around.

"Meaning the entire thing could still collapse and were still underneath it it would be best to leave and figure out what to do when were safe above ground Hewlett has Tapirmon and Waspy he is in good hands trust me where no good to Hewlett if where dead so leave the reading until where outside."

Teo looked at Usa "What should we do?"

[Usachan]

I bit my lip and blinked as a hand slid into mine. "Twin's right Usa-chan. Lets get outside while we can." I hesistate then nod. "Let's go then." "Fastest way is via Lighdramon." Vee said. I nod and takeout my D-3. "Chibimon Shinka! V-mon!" "V-Mon Armour Shinka! Lighdramon!" I hopped on and grabbed Teo's hand and pulled him up with Yami, and Lighdramon started running.

[Teo Sage]

The group got out thanks to Lighdramon's help, Teo and Yami hopped off and Yami walked over to the Cathedral.

"Huh, this place was more trouble then it was worth." Yami kicked the side of it the building shook Yami panicked and ran back as the whole thing came tumbling down and now was nothing but a pile of ruins.

"Coincidence...." Yami said. Teo smiled a little and turned to face Usa, "So what does the book say?" Teo asked Yami walked over to his side.
