Shiv thought about this briefly. And a few things came to mind.
First, how did he not notice that they were floating in the sky? And second, how did the forest turn into here if the two each had their own miniature island?
Then the answer came to him, whatever force brought them all here must have also guided them to this mountain.
Or Shiv was completely over-thinking the whole thing. Either way, he would be left behind if he lingered further. Then the entire reunion would have been for naught!
Laughing aloud, Shiv runs after the two others. Yang started to laugh as well. Yin just watched.

Wizardmon came to a very quick and sudden stop at the edge of the island, frowning behind his cloak at the sight of space between the two broken islands.
Inori was very thankful that she had been trailing along behind Wizardmon as she likely would not have made the stop as well and gone flying off into the void of digital space that made up the vast expanse between islands.
"This is amazing!" She grinned in a sort of childish way. "Are all the areas like this? What about that forest earlier?"
"The forest was...likely just another part of this island...there is a bigger one on another island." He replied, though was not certain as to what Inori found amazing about the sight before her. Her grin was a little infectious however, as he found himself smiling back at her, even if she could not see it.
"A trip I think I would like to avoid for a while. Two bugs was plenty!" She replied. Wizardmon chuckled and nodded.
"Understandable." He offered, pausing to listen for a moment. "Trailmon should be here shortly."

Dante noticed them stopping just in time to come up short himself before he careened off the edge. He took a step forward and looked over the side.
"Wow, it just kind of ends, doesn't it?"
He straightened back up and took on a thoughtful pose.
"I wonder if this place was ever connected up at one point. Seems kind of silly to have your world be train tracks connecting little bitty chunks of land all over the place, hmmm?"
Nyaromon rolled her eyes.
"What should I say about your world, then? That it's full of people who go to a place knowing something could happen there and expecting that it won't? Very intelligent. Gives me lots of hope for the rest of your species."
Dante gave her a halfhearted punch to the side of the head.
"Watch it, furball. I did it on a dare. Besides, your species isn't all peaches and cream either, are they? It's okay, I got to meet the best of ya first."
Nyaromon couldn't help but smile at the compliment. She didn't comment, lest she draw attention to herself, but she was certainly thinking about it. Given her current sampling of humans, she wouldn't trade Dante for any of them. He was just the right amount of attentive, and was more complicated than blank stares and being scared when thrust into something new. He didn't match the horror stories the hatchlings would tell each other at all, and she was grateful. She dared to hope that his views wouldn't change as she changed form.

Shiv saw that the others were standing and slowed to a walk. Yang peered out from over his shoulder, his glances often turning to Inori before venturing elsewhere. Yin was silent.
Shiv looked out at the vast expanse of the digital nothingness. The sight of it was intriguing to say the least. Such impossibilities exist here! Shiv wondered just how bizarre everything was going to get, and then squashed that thought before it came true.
"Hmmm," mused Shiv, "Yang, just what does Trailmon look like?"
Yang starts, his mouth dropping open.
"I'm not sure!" He states, "I've always been asleep when we traveled! You'd have to ask Yin!"
Yin huffs, making it very plain that he would do no such thing.
"The humans can see for themselves."

Wizardmon let out a sigh of relief when a green Trailmon came into view. He muttered something under his breath about Racoon Dog being better company then Buffalo. Inori had no idea what he was talking about, but never quite got the chance to ask, as the green train was approaching quickly.
The squealing of breaks was a good indication that the train-like creature had spotted them....though it seemed to stop a fair bit short to stare at the group waiting for it.
"Not...what I expected." The train rumbled after a moment, then pulled forward a bit more, and opened it's doors.
Inori leaned towards Wizardmon, whispering, "We're supposed to ride -inside- of a digimon?" Wizardmon gave her a blank sort of look. "Yes, is that a problem?"
"Uh...no of course not!" She laughed nervously.
"Oi!" The Trailmon spoke up again, trying to watch them from the corner of it's eye. "Stop standing there and get on."
"Wait, where will you be taking us?" Inori asked, sounding bolder then she probably felt...seeing as how she felt a little silly talking to a train.
"Where am I going? What a silly question. The Puppetry Fields of course!" The train sounded oddly proud of this for some reason Inori could clearly not fathom.
"No bugs." Wizardmon offered. "Or at least not nearly as many as in a forest."
"Good enough for me..." Inori did not sound totally convinced of this, but gave a resigned sigh as her partner grabbed her hand and dragged her onto the train. Or started to.
"This okay with you guys?" Inori glanced back to the rest of the group.
"It better be. I'm on a schedule you know." Trailmon sounded a little exasperated. Clearly...this was it's blunt way of saying: Make up your minds quick!

Dante pondered for a moment, then shrugged.
"All the same to me. One area is as good as the next as far as I'm concerned."
He looked down at Nyaromon.
"I eventually want to see what you can do in a fight, but I'm in no hurry."
Nyaromon huffed.
"There's more to life than fighting, Dante. Besides, I'd need to achieve my next form before I'll feel like fighting anyway."
She huffed again, indignant that he would demand such a thing of her. In reality, she knew that her combat capabilities were rather depressing at that point and would rather her partner think her lazy than useless.
Dante shrugged and got on board the Trailmon.
"I'm always game for new experiences, at any rate."

Shiv took it all in in an instant and quickly jumped aboard, Yang giving a gleeful cry. Yin paused at the gate.
"Puppetry Fields?" He asked, "I have a bad feeling about this."
Yin floated on board as well. Yang would need his help in the times ahead.

When all were aboard the train, the doors closed, and the train took off towards the Puppetry Fields. Trailmon seemed to be humming contently to itself as it went.
Wizardmon sat at the nearest set of seats, grinning to himself when Inori did the same.
The trailmon ride was generally uneventful outside of the train...and likely inside for the three humans and four chosen Digimon and larger transportation digimo. The sixth digimon remained quietly in the shadows under a seat, more then happy to remain blended in with his element of choice and watch and remain unnoticed.
(Move to the Puppetry Fields? Either one of you can start the next thread!)
