Vee growled. "Usa, something's coming." I pulled Teo behind me. "You've had enough excitement for one day." I said to him quietly and held my D-3 ready, wondering what kind of enemy we'd face.

Renal had an uneasy feeling as he was looking at the two doors. "Atlas i don't like this at all, we should be on our best guard" Renal said getting into a battle stance. Atlas just nodded his head and was starring at the doors. "Whatever is coming through that door has to be strong." Atlas thought to himself.

Demidevimon gulped audibly.
"Y-yes Boss! Right away!" He stuttered as he flew quickly towards the grand hall's towering door.
As he flew, a hint of movement caught his eye. A wicked grin spread across his blueish gray face.
"Hey boss! I'm going to borrow some entertainment! Just watch! This'll be great!"
The great doors opened, and the light of Devimon's Maze poured in. This is not saying that it was bright out in the maze, only that it was even darker in the tower.
Out of the shadows of the doorway, Demidevimon flew. He looked at the chosen before him, a smirk drifted across his face. These brats may have bested him before, but now they were in the territory of his master, and his master's power was absolute.
"Foolish chosen!" He shouted in his most grand and dramatic voice, "You are fools to have ventured this far!"
At this point in his speech the great doors slammed shut, wisps of displaced shadow swirling from the jams until they dissolved before the greater light of the maze.
"You know not the powers that you play against. And now you will learn the err of your ways."

Hewlett paced up and down as his brilliant mind flew over possibility after possibility. We could blast open the door, but the door might be made of sterner stuff or lead to nowhere or a flat wall. We could try cutting through the rock, but it might be dangerous, explosive even. Waspy watched his partner with a curious, sullen expression as he quietly hovered about above him. Lazily, he blasted a chunk of the mysterious rock with his Bear Busters, and was very surprised when there was no explosion.
So was Hewlett.

Teo peaked out from the cover of Usa to see the digimon that had fooled them earlier while under the cover of Patamon.
Yami raised an eyebrow and scoffed at DemiDevimon "Huh, thats it? This is the welcoming committee? ha ha ha and here I thought this was going to be trouble." Yami laughed.
"Why don't you save us the trouble of kicking your ass and getting your master out here so we can kick his for what he did!" Yami yelled.

Vee hit his brother with his tail. "Watch your language Twin." he said and glared at PicoDevimon. "Who's your master?" I look at the digimon quirking an eyebrow. "This is the digimon who's going to each us 'the err of our ways'? Oh please! Vee, you can take him in Child form. Go get him!" I called out Vee nodded and jumped towards PicoDevimon. "V-mon Head!"

Renal was almost on the floor laughing as he saw the small digimon before them. "So this is our enemy huh? Thats just pathetic!" Renal said with a big confident smile. "Renal your already defeated if you underestimate your enemy. Never judge a book by it's cover." Atlas said with a serious face on. "Just because he is small doesnt mean hes weak." Atlas said. "Yeah i guess your right." Renal said. "Now stay on guard we dont know what he is capable of." Atlas said watching closely as usa sent vee to attack.

Demidevimon saw the attack coming, these children were so predictable. In the dim light, it looked like the diminutive imp disappeared as he suddenly shot off at an improbable angle.
And then, at the same time as Demidevimon vanished, a soft set of voices spoke in unison.
"Tongue Lashing." The voices chimed.
And quick as that, each child's digivice disappeared.

Hewlett examined the rock Waspy had launched his Bear Buster at. It was now glowing in exactly the same shade of blue that the energy launched from the weapon was, and it gave him a very bold idea. He had Waspy launch as powerful and sustained a blast of energy from his Turbo Stinger at the ceiling, and watched with delight as it absorbed the energy until it was glowing so bright that Hewlett had to shield his eyes.
Now all they had to do was release all that energy.

"Hey!" Teo said as he placed his hand on his back pocket after he felt an uncomfortable tug and realized his digivice was gone. "What was that?" Teo exclaimed.
Yami looked around "Huh? A second enemy?" Yami said as he backed up to protect Teo and Usa. "Figures this guy doesn't have the guts to face us alone!" Yami said.

"Ah!" I cried out as my hand went to my belt clip. "That was dirty!" Vee yelled out and looked around trying to find the small digimon and the mysterious digimon that had taken the digivices.

"I don't like the looks of this." Atlas said as he was looking around. "Is he that scared of us that he had to steal our digivices? He is still out numbered!" Renal said looking for him. "Renal don't be fooled he definately didn't come alone. I doubt anything is fast enough to steal all our digivices at once. Whoever we're facing is very good at hiding." Atlas said. "I don't like hide and seek so wherever you people are come out and fight like men!" Renal shouted.

Demidevimon's cackle pierced the air, seeming to come from everywhere at once. It echoed and reverberated until it seemed as though there were several Demidevimon instead of the measly one. This pleased Demidevimon, and he hoped that the children could appreciate all the trouble he was going through to put them in place.
Safely nestled against his ally, Demidevimon called out. His voice had a similar apparent origin as his laugh, that is to say that it seemed as though it came from everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
"There is no need, stupid chosen!" He taunted, "You now pose absolutely no threat to my master and his allies! By all means! Enter!"
As Demidevimon spoke the final word, the grand doors opened. The shadows within swirled out and cascaded down the small staircase leading to the chosens' feet. As the darkness fled from Devimon's Citadel, more of the grand hall within was visible from without.
Dark granite slabs decorated the floor and walls, with interspersed pillars of black granite throughout the hall. On each pillar and spread evenly along the walls torches burned with azure flame, casting light that bore illumination but little else. A crimson carpet runner ran the breadth of the door all the way to the end of the hall. In the center of the circular room a grand table sat, its mahogany form polished to a darkly radiant sheen. Crimson napkins with gold filigree had place settings for six, and the brass silverware looked impeccably clean next to white china plates. The place settings on the table were so far apart that one would have to walk to pass any plate or drink to the next in line, and four candelabras segmented the table with their resplendent azure flames perched on grayish-blue wax. The chairs around the table were made of mahogany like the table itself, with crimson seat pads and towering backs.
All of this though would be secondary though, as one's attention would be immediately pulled to the head of the table. There a throne sat maliciously, if a piece of furniture could ever be said to do so. The throne was as polished as the table, but it was made of what appeared to be gray stone. The stone was carved to resemble hundreds of faces, their expressions locked in eternal fear and torment. The throne caught the dark light in such a way as to accentuate this particular feature. And within this magnificent and horrible throne, his fingertips tapping together in malevolent glee, sat the master of the tower.

Devimon sat glaring down at the chosen from his prized throne staring into his eyes was like looking into an eternal void of nothingness, despair and distraught his demeanor sent chills down the spines of all that bore witness. His grin gave the impression of a mind always conjuring a thought or two. He eyed all that was there and quickly deducted one was amiss, however he was certain the other fly would show up sooner or later.
He placed his hands grasping the end of the arms of his throne and with a strong almost victorious tone in his voice he spoke. "It was unwise of you to find me, you could have lived longer. I thought I was being generous letting you live in my home you just had to be rebellious." Devimon gave a larger smile when at that moment is seemed the room he sat in warped as it went inward his throne in the blinking of an eye moved to the very top of the stairs just outside the doors.
Through all this not a thing was disturbed on the table or around it "Rebellious children must be punished."
Teo couldn't help but shake at his presence since his demented form was clearly visible now then before he wanted to hide, run and get away from him he couldn't speak but wanted to scream looking at him made Teo feel ill the amount of evil, the amount of darkness simply resonating from his being was almost to much to handle for the young lad. Teo snapped out of it when he heard the voice of his partner.
"Stop kidding around!" Yami shouted as he ran off to wards Devimon "Yami! Stop!" Teo yelled. "V-Head!" Yami said as he jumped to wards Devimon with full force. Devimon let it make contact with his chest Yami flipped back as Devimon then scoffed "Hmph, This is the attack that shattered Mercuremon? What a disappointment." Devimon raised his hand "Destroying you would be an effortless task."
Yami eyes widened "No damage?" "Yami! Move!!" Teo yelled Yami turned to look at Teo when he was about to move Devimon attacked from his throne "Death Hand." A blast of unholy energy fired at Yami hitting him and sending him hurdling to the floor at the end of the steps. "Yamiiiiiiiiiii!" Teo said running off to him.

My eyes widened at the sight of the evil digimon. My knees were shaking badly and it was an effort to breath. My hands covered my mouth when Yami went flying, and I felt Vee tense up next to me. "Teme..." he growled low. I finally found my voice. "What do you want with us?" I asked.
