Twenty-four hours on the Oceans Blue

[Hewlett]

It was a fairly quiet day on the Sea of Bubbles. A pleasant breeze passed over one of the larger islands.
A large tunnel opened out of the sand and Apemon ran through, carrying Hewlett, Usa, Teo and their various Digimon partners. He put them down and explained the situation.

[Usachan]

I look around and notice the ocean and my eyes light up. I run towards the water, disregarding my shoes and socks and roll up my pant legs and walk into the water, Vee and Kulumon follow me. We start a splashing game.

[Teo Sage]

Teo jumped off of the Apemon as well as Yami "A beach....I've never been to one before." Teo said a loud he stood next to the towering digimon Apemon.

Yami turned to face Apemon "You know a little warning next time before you go sweeping us off our feet." Yami said then he gave a suspicious glare towards Apemon.

"Tell me, how come you don't regress? When the island split up the power to sustain evolution past the child level was lost unless you have a powerful source like that virus shard you destroyed. Or at least thats what I assumed." Yami asked.

"Yami, that Garurumon we faced earlier he didn't regress."

"Thats cause he was probably tainted by the virus even if he wasn't under its complete control like that Igamon. Not to mention you still have contacts in the capital which is supposed to be under siege no? Whats your story?"

Teo looked at Hewlett and Apemon "I'm sorry you have to forgive him he is very nosy." Teo said as he began to pull Yami away. "Your so impolite! After all we sought him out....try to be a little more friendly!" Teo scolded.

"B-but Teo." "Enough c'mon lets go play with Onee-chan." Teo said the two began to walk towards Usa and the group.

[Usachan]

I smile and splash Teo and Vee splashes Yami when they come in range. Soon a splash and dunk fight in on.

[Hewlett]

Apemon sighed, a deep and weary sigh.
"Fear spreads and paranoia is it's offspring. Even the youth of this isle are ignorant of what happened."
"Nothing's stopping them digivolving, is it? They're just too frightened to fight anyone... to frightened to grow. Our Digivices don't just give Digimon data - they break the fear." Apemon nodded, and extended his hand.
"This is a holy ring - a tiny fragment of the power of an exeptionally powerful Digimon. It is made of the same material as a Digivice, but its powers are different - it makes me stronger, but I do not Digivolve. It can defeat the virus in solid form, but weakens in the presence of the mist; a Digivice would cut a beam through it like a knife through butter." Hewlett smiled a little. He liked learning things.

[Usachan]

I come out of the water and put my shoes and socks back on and explore the beach area. I soon find a cave that has aglowing object in it. "Hey guys!" I call out. "I found something!"

[Hewlett]

Hewlett heard Usa shouting, and, assuming that something interesting at the least had happened, he went over to her location, Waspy in close pursuit. They arrived at the mouth of a cave on a smaller island some distance away (perhaps twenty-five meters) with a blue-yellow glow coming from within.
"Looks interesting, Usa. Shall we?" With a wry smile, Hewlett took her by the hand and led her into the cave. Waspy, uncertain of what to do and how to react, picked up Vee by the head and flew in with the blue dragon false-protesting underneath.

[Usachan]

I quirk my eyebrow at the back of Hewlett's head when he took my hand but shrug and let him. I then blink as my D-3 starts pulsing.I take it out with my free hand and blink as its glowing. "What the...."

[Teo Sage]

Teo watched as the two went into the cave "Should we go with them?" Yami asked.

"I'm actually a little tired....lets wait for them here." Teo said "Ok...."

"Yami-san." Teo looked at his partner "What is it Teo?"

"That fight before, with Garurumon....how come you didn't transform like your brother?" Teo asked.

"Hmm...I don't know I suppose it wasn't my time." That was all Yami could say. "You said when we met that its my heart, my digi-soul that helps you evolve was it because I wasn't strong enough?" Teo sat down his shoes next to him he moved his toes through the soft sand.

"No no no its nothing like that! You were scared! Thats to be expected after all your still new to this! Don't worry, I'll evolve when the time comes! Don't doubt yourself, and even if I never evolve past this stage I'd fight the virus alone if it was for you." Yami said he sat next to Teo.

Teo smiled "I'm glad...I met you and Onee-chan to."

"Teo...." Yami watched as his tamer went into a sleep Yami couldn't help but smile.

"You haven't slept at all since you got here have you? You chose to keep going even though you were physically exhausted your a lot stronger then you give yourself credit for...Teo." Yami said he looked up at the sky and relaxed next to Teo.

Little did they know, they have been watched since the group arrived from the ocean, if Yami had been paying attention he would have noticed as ripple in the water followed by a large shadow.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett and Waspy watched with intent as Usas D3 projected a hologramatic grid map of the cave - with a large, pulsing blue marker some way in.
"Definitely something in here. Shall we take a look-see?"

[Usachan]

I start walking towards the pulsing blue marker. I blink in surprise when we stop in front of a dark blue peanut-looking thing with a electric spike coming out of it. I frown in thought and then notice that my D-3 is pulsing even faster. I reach my hand out towards the odd looking rock thing.....

[Hewlett]

Apemon was deep in meditation as he endeavoured to contact his peers. He knew that if viral Digimon were escaping the Capital, that meant that the Dark Digimon was active - and that meant that he was somehow in contact with his cohorts.
Apemon stopped, remembering that the young boy... Teo, he thought, seemed odd in the way he moved. The Digital World was doing something for him, and Apemon felt he should investigate - because if it was anything big, that would cause serious repercussions in reality.

[Usachan]

I pick up the odd thing and the cave starts shaking. "Lets get out of here!" Vee calls out and we all run towards the exit when more big rocks fall and block the exit. "Oh no, we're trapped." I say.

[Teo Sage]

A little while had passed since Hewlett, Usa and digimon ventured into the cave. A cloud hovered in front of the sun dimming the light on the ground.

Teo was sound asleep Yami became thirsty so he went down to the waters edge he took a drink of water before saying to himself "Those guys really are taking there time." Yami turned his back facing the ocean.

"Maybe we should go in after them..." Yami said lurking behind him was the shadow two eyes of red analyzing Yami's every move Teo stirred in his sleep he woke up.

"Oi, Teo your awake!" Yami waved "This, is odd, I don't feel well...." Teo said he became pale. "Teo....are you okay? You don't look to good." Just as Yami said that the water behind him began to rise Teo looked his face changed he became frightened.

Yami raised an eyebrow as he turned around only to look up onto the towering sea dragon known as Seadramon. Seadramon let out a mighty roar which echoed all the way to the cave.

Teo looked on as Yami appeared to be frozen "Y-Yami-san!!!! RUN!!!" Teo yelled Yami turned as he went to run towards Teo Seadramon lunged at the small blue dragon headbutting him.

Yami flew face first into the sand Teo ran over to him "Yami-san!"
"I'm okay, Teo! You have to get to safety Seadramon is nothing like the other two!" Yami said.

"Seadramon?" Teo looked up at the sea dragon there was something lodged into the armor it wore on its head a large stone similar to the one Igamon had but 3x its size. "There is something on its head." Teo said.

Yami looked "Thats a virus shard...." Yami replied "Its big...." "It looks like that shard has already combined itself into Seadramon's flesh we have no choice but to fight otherwise he will hunt us down even if we run."

"Yami-san, we need Onee-chan and Vee!" "No, Teo, I'll protect you!" Yami got up he ran towards the towering Seadramon who glared down at him. "V Head!!!" Yami launched himself towards Seadramon in an attempt to headbutt him Seadramon easily countered by smashing him with its tail.

Yami looked like a rag doll as he plummeted into the sand. "Gwah!" "Yami!" Teo shot up but he quickly fell to a knee "Not...now..."

Seadramon let out another mighty roar as he launched his tail at Yami striking him while he laid on the floor. Once, Twice, another at this rate Yami surely would be killed. Seadramon continued to smash Yami with its tail all Teo could do was watch.

[Hewlett]

Hewlett was more than a little frustrated - being stuck in a cave for ten minutes was... well... boring. There was nothing going on and he couldn't talk to Waspy while Usa and Vee were standing there.
"I hate this. It sucks royally." He blushed slightly as Usa giggled at his outburst but stopped when he felt a rumble beneath the earth. "Uh, Usa? Did you just hear that?" There was a second rumble as a portion of the flooring at the back of the cave fell in and a large purple-furred bulk slipped up and back down into the lower, newly revealed area.
"Cool. Let's check it out"
